Uploading files but trying to get responses from character personas

I’ve uploaded some pdfs but I’ve noticed it’s very fact based. I’m trying to get a response from the chat bot as generative from the story I’ve uploaded. Are uploading PDF’s basically creating factual information bots?

Hi,

in my opinion, yes and no. Depending on what chatbot you are using, but the ChatGPT has a temperature parameter. It regulates how “creative” it gets. Setting that to 0.0 should give straight facts from the prompt/context you give him. The higher you leave temperature the more creative the output will be :slight_smile: at least from what I’ve learned so far.
