Seems like Serverless and Starter indexes do not support deleting with metadata filtering. at the moment. Are there plans to support metadata based filtering and deletion in Pinecone Serverless?
Just wanted to bump this one. I’ve gotten emails from Pinecone suggesting I move to serverless, but the inability to delete via metadata, and instead using an iteration approach based on doc ID (Manage RAG documents - Pinecone Docs) is a blocker for me. My Pinecone DB stores information from user-uploaded documents that are constantly being added, updated, and deleted. I may need to delete based on a variety of criteria.
