It would be great to have a feature of retention policy that would clear unused vectors automatically after some time.
I have plenty of users and some stopped using my product so I could delete their vectors.
What are you workaround now?
You may want to keep track of client vector IDs in a separate database and then issue DELETE commands periodically from a separate job you can create based on any business logic you want around retention periods.
of course if I try hard enough I can do and get everything, I can also re-implement Pinecone myself
