I need to know if pinecone saves any of my vector queries. I’m only interested if any of the content is being persisted. Wether through logging or other persistance. Logging of time, amount etc. is not relevant.
This also extends to your cloud providers. We know for a fact that you explicitly have to ask Azure to turn off internal logs (as we have for some of our other solutions)

Thanks for the question, and welcome to the Pinecone community.
We have a doc on Pinecone’s data deletion policy that mentions that audit logging details are retained for 90 days and then permanently deleted. However, there’s no mention of query content, so I asked internally and learned that the audit log does not contain the contents of queries. Hope that helps.

Just to clarify, does that mean that the vector from a query is not stored in any form?
Metadata about the request is not a concern, only the content of the query
