Inquiry About Enterprise Upgrade and S3 Bucket Configuration for Pinecone UI

We are planning to upgrade our account to enterprise to allow our technical department users to use the Pinecone UI through the Pinecone website. Can we configure our own storage (S3 bucket) for all users accessing the Pinecone Assistant UI? This is to ensure data security. Additionally, will we have access to the storage location where our users are uploading documents?

Hi - I’m a product manager for the assistant product. We don’t support the ability to specify the storage location for documents at this time, though this is something we are looking into. For now, all the documents end up being stored on Pinecone’s, encrypted, cloud storage.

Right now, admins will be able to review all documents uploaded by users via API or via the console.

Thanks Nathan. Can you provide few more details on as an admin, how to review all documents uploaded by users. Is this through the pinecone console?

Yes, through the Pinecone console. If you have the API key for the project driving the assistants you can do so via API as well.

Hi Nathan, We are planing to upgrade it to Pinecone assistant Enterprise version. Is it possible for us to control number of assistants and Documents that user can upload in Enterprise Version? Also it is possible to control users not to create Databases and Indexes, just use Pinecone assistant.
