I was added to an Organization, but now I can't create my own

I’m on a project where another developer had set up a Pinecone instance for testing. They added me to the organization and project. Now I’m interested in setting up my own organization for another project, but it doesn’t look like I can create one. I also don’t see a way to leave the first organization I was invited to. I see a “Switch Organizations” UI element when clicking the name of the org I was invited to in the bottom left, but there’s nothing there about creating a new one. Anything I’m missing?

I used to have a “throw away” account where I would create Organization, invite my real account, set me up as the admin and owner, then remove the throw away acc from the org :slight_smile: Its a workaround, but it worked so far.

Hey folks,

You can leave an organization by visiting the organization’s members page and removing yourself from the members list (/organizations/-/settings/access/members).

To create a new organization, visit your account’s organization memberships page and select “Create organization.” (/organizations/-/settings/account/organizations)
