Configurable date range in metrics charts

Currently, on the metrics charts, there are preset relative date/time ranges (last 15 min, last hour, last day, etc.)

A nice feature would be to allow custom ranges to see trends over time periods that are useful to the viewer.

Thanks for sharing the feedback! We are aiming to release this in a future update to our metrics chart. Ideally we think should be able to select within a chart to “scrub” to a time window.

That would be nice, and in line with how many other tools let you zoom in to a period.

But I’d also like to be able to see beyond 1 week, in the case that a large ingest takes longer than that, or you want to compare metrics when the index was smaller, etc.
