One thing that would really be a game changer would be plugging assistants into an index. I assume this would be the eventual evolution of the assistants’ feature set. If so, I would love to get a timeline estimate on that.
ultimately if there was a way to plug an assistant into an index then pinecone would hands down be the most powerful platform to build a RAG system on top of. One index, one API, one API key, etc. and a simple API interface to manage chat with context of an entire index. It would just be awesome.
