Index creation is disabled for this environment, please try a different environment

How do I go about getting index creation re-enabled? And how did it become disabled in the first place?

Hi @neillowden. That message means that index creation is disabled for that cloud region, not just your project but any project in that region.

We’ve seen phenomenal growth recently, and some of our cloud regions are out of room for new indexes. Please try creating a new project in a different region.

But please be aware that not all regions are available on the free tier. So you may have to upgrade to gain access to additional regions if you’re still on the Starter plan.

Please can you advise which regions have availability for new projects/indexes?
