# I need a Region in addition to the API

I continually get “asia-northeast1-gcp” instead of USA (where I am) - how do I change this?

experiencing a similar issue as well. getting an error not connecting to pinecone but it’s not reading the correct region for my environment. any help would be great. as an observation Pinecone had this issue a week or so ago with the Asia region.
