# Feature Request and Feedback for Pinecone Assistant

I am writing to express my appreciation for Pinecone Assistant and to inquire about your roadmap for implementing several key features that would significantly enhance its capabilities and competitiveness.

Specifically, I would like to request information regarding the following features:

1. **Conversation History:** Enabling the ability to store and access previous conversations would provide valuable context and improve the overall user experience.
2. **PII Data Restrictions:** Implementing measures to prevent users from uploading Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data would ensure data privacy and compliance with regulations.
3. **S3 Bucket Integration:** Allowing enterprise organizations to map their own S3 buckets would provide additional security and flexibility for data storage and access control.
4. **Role-Based Access:** Introducing role-based access controls would enable organizations to manage permissions and restrict access to sensitive data based on user roles.

I believe that the implementation of these features would make Pinecone Assistant even more user-friendly and attractive to a wider range of users and organizations.

Thanks for the feedback, we’ll include these items as inputs to our upcoming roadmap planning.

Role-Based Access controls are already on the roadmap, so you can expect an update there in near to mid term.
