# Error Connection

Hello, i’m trying to connect to my index, It has error through SSL Connection: “Error: OpenSSL SSL\_connect: Connection reset by peer in connection” , should we whitelisted our IP ?

Hi @viktor.iwan ,

Thanks for your question, and I’m sorry to hear you encountered this issue.

Is this still a problem for you? In general, you should not need to whitelist your IP specifically. I’m wondering if your code or a library its using is having SSL connection difficulties under the hood.

Are you running this locally on your development machine or in the cloud?

Could you please share your application code so we can investigate what might be going wrong?
